As an insured person in the statutory health insurance (GKV), you will receive all the necessary dermatological services within the framework of the legal possibilities. These services must be sufficient, appropriate and economical and must not exceed what is necessary.
Additional dermatological specialist services that are not part of the contract medical care (so-called Igel services) are not paid for by the statutory health insurance. These services are billed according to the official fee schedule for doctors (GOÄ) and must be borne by the insured person.
