Description
Skin cancer screening
Skin cancer is one of the most common human cancers, with the number of cases increasing for years. If skin cancer is detected early, the treatment options and the prognosis are good.
The early detection examination for skin cancer (skin cancer screening) is therefore a central part of our work. The entire skin organ is examined with the help of a magnifying glass and examined for any noticeable changes.
With the additional incident light microscopy (dermatoscopy), birthmarks can be assessed much better and abnormalities recognized even earlier, so we generally recommend having the examination carried out with incident light microscopy.
In certain cases, additional security can be achieved with the computer-aided birthmark analysis and documentation (photo finder system). By making regular comparisons with the previous recordings, the photo finder system can detect even the smallest changes over time.
