Description
The GSX-R1000R is equipped with the latest Showa BFF (Balance-Free-Front-Fork) front fork and the light Showa BFRC lite (Balance-Free-Rear-Cushion) rear suspension. Both were specially developed for racing and significantly improve traction and cornering speed thanks to better damping and a precisely defined reaction to road impulses. The difference can be felt immediately on the track. The front brake lines, which previously had a rubber coating, have been replaced by steel braided lines since 2019. Another innovation offers the possibility of changing the position of the swing arm at the mounting point on the frame for racing.
